Mechanic Job

Location: Medical City (Dallas, TX)
- Performs a variety of duties throughout the hospital including mechanical, electrical, plumbing, refrigeration, carpentry, painting, etc.
- Performs preventive and corrective maintenance.
- Coordinates repairs and maintenance with contractors as needed.
Required Job Qualifications include:
- High school degree or equivalent is required
- Hospital maintenance experience and/or experience in a particular trade such as mechanical, electrical, plumbing, refrigeration, carpentry, painting, etc.
- Completion of related trade school program preferred.
- 3 years of maintenance experience.
- Maintenance in a hospital setting preferred.
- Customer service abilities including effective listening skills.
- Critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision in a fast paced environment.
- Ability to perform work that requires frequent standing, bending, reaching, squatting, kneeling, moving, lifting of patients and/or equipment up to 50 lbs.
